On some matters we have fixed fee options available. For example, we offer a Legal Consultation Session for just £50.
Through this option, we will assess your situation and provide you with a fixed fee to assist with your case. This gives you a level of cost certainty to get you to a particular resolution. For some areas we are able to do this in stages of your case which gives you even more flexibility.
This means we will assess your case and provide a fully flexible option on an hour-by-hour basis. You will be given information about the likely overall cost of your matter, and you will be updated as to these costs.
This is a service which comes with some insurance policies and other financial products. It can be used to cover part or all of our fees. Your lawyer can take you through this option if it is available.
Some union and membership organisations offer legal cover within the membership benefits.
AVA Solicitors work on a transparent fee structure for immigration applications.

If you are not happy with the final written reply provided by us or the person normally dealing with your case, you may refer your complaint to the Legal Ombudsman (LeO). The LeO expects complaints to be made to them within months years from the date of the act or omission about which you are concerned, or three years from when you should have known about the complaint.
The Legal Ombudsman will usually only consider a complaint if our internal complaints procedure has been exhausted within the last six months.
